It’s been a known fact amongst my most loyal and dedicated readers (like…like all three of you or something) that my wife is Wonder Woman. My very first post, I gushed on and on about how she worked full time, was working on her masters, and still somehow managed to be an amazing momma to her three kids (i technically don’t count myself as an adult due to potty humor issues).
Well, can’t say that anymore.
That’s right, things have changed.
Afraid she no longer can claim one of those things for Momma Grump
Has
Officially
Finished
Her
Masters!!!
Cue the confetti

That’s right ladies and germs, my wife is now a master! No, I don’t mean she HAS her masters, I’m saying she is a master! THE master of the Grump household! And Y’know what that means, don’t you? Oooooh yeah baby, now that I can call her master, I can live out one of my longest fantasies…
I’m sure you know what I’m talking about 😏

…what?
Oh my word, did you just assume…
Get your mind out of the gutter people, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves!
Y’all need some more church for real!
Nah but seriously, I am so proud of you honey. You’ve worked so hard for so many years to finally get this. One of the very first things you told me when we first met was that one of your life goals was to get your masters, and there you go doing it. You amaze me. You always find a way to persevere no matter how bleak or hard it seems. And now, you’ve done it! You’ve finished! You’re Master Momma now!
And what better day to tell you this but on Mother’s Day, but I love you. You always and will always astound me with all that you do. Thank you for being a part of my life and giving me so much to be grateful for.
Now, go and chase the next dream!
I also want to wish a happy Mother’s Day to my mom, my mother in law, and my sister as well. You are all amazing women and mothers who have made me a better man and person today. And to that end, happy Mother’s Day to the rest of you and thank you for the amazing work you do. This world would be a bleaker place without your light.
And on that note, imma disappear for a few months again and randomly pop up out of the blue again!
Love you my grumps!
Stay classy, stay safe, and, above all else,
Stay grumpy.
And happy Mother’s Day!
