Quarantined

Well, the world is coming to an end again.

Look, no matter if you are on the side of thinking this coronavirus thing is blown out of proportion, or if you believe that this is the end of days prophesied by the ancients we can all agree that getting sick sucks.

Everything is being closed, no one can leave their house, and that’s a good thing! Hey, if you’re grumpy because you’re being cooped up all day when nothing will probably happen to you or your family, then that’s sorta the point! We want nothing to happen! So bunker down and stay healthy for the love of Pete!

Anyways, the local schools up here have been closed for a minimum of six weeks. No restaurants are allowed to have dine ins, the YMCA is shut down, so basically we are all quarantined. With a wee one enrolled in preschool, this means that now I AM IN CHARGE OF HER EDUCATION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!

That’s scary folks.

The way I see it, our days will start one way:

My tykes may be a bit behind in their ABC’s by the time they go back to school, but by golly they will be fluent in Klingon!

But I hope you all are safe and secured. Please stay clean and don’t go out unless you need to! Remember: all things pass, and this too shall pass. Best to have a tinge of cabin fever instead of hacking up your lungs.
